This course is the follow up to the DHI (Defensive Handgun I) course. In this course the student will continue to grow his/her skills they learned in DHI with a heavier focus on moving off line of attack, barricades, how to move-shoot-fight from inside and around vehicles, and beginning tactics. This is an 8 hour course spent entirely on the range. This is not an NRA course of instruction.

Building on the skills learned in Defensive Handgun 1, students learn to think outside the box by using cover, moving and shooting and shooting an and around vehicles.
Range Drills Include:
You will need a minimum of 400 rounds for your pistol. You will need to bring safety glasses and hearing protection (electronic prefered so you can hear range commands). You will need to wear seasonally appropriate clothing. Shirts should have a round collar to prevent the unauthorized access of brass into your shirt. All shooting ranges used by ATHG are outdoor and will take place rain or shine so depending on weather you may need rain gear. We do have pistols and gear to rent if you need.
The student must have taken Defensive handgun I or a similar course covering the same subjects, be a current United States citizenand meets one of the three following;
The class room portion will be held at the Tsutomuru Judo Dojo located at 2792 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, Mi. 49221. There is a link with a map on the registration page. The range portion will be held at a local range subject to change depending on class size and availability.
